The top floor gymnasium in Greensboro’s Town Hall is now open for community use!
Due to only a single exit being available, the Fire Marshal has approved capacity for up to 49 persons and the Greensboro Selectboard has indicated they will establish a Town Hall Committee to develop a plan to pursue recommendations for improving the entire building’s structure, efficiency, and accessibility. The space is available for a variety of activities, which can be requested through a space use form. The form with restricted times is posted on the gym wall and you get one from the town administrator.
The pickleball group is excited to have this space available weekdays after 5 and on weekends. Your comments about best time to play would be helpful. Coordination with other actitivites will be a scheduling problem we need to figure out.

Well, we have some good news to report. After a very long struggle to get the Town Hall gym opened up, we finally got approval from the Select Board on Wednesday. A group of us have laid out the court and put new lighting up in the gym. There are still a couple of things to iron out but it looks like we will be able to play soon. I will keep you posted on schedules and times soon.
